Leaving Cert Art Practicals

Well done to our LC Art students who completed their Art Practical Exams on Wednesday & Thursday!

The 5-hour practical exam is the final stage of months of preparation, where students create a finished piece based on their chosen brief. It tests their creativity, technical skill, and ability to develop ideas under time pressure. This exam is worth 50% of the overall Leaving Cert Art grade. 

A brilliant effort by all – you should be very proud! Sincere thanks to the Art Department for guiding and supporting our students throughout!
