Hard luck to our Junior football team, who were beaten by last year’s Leinster finalists, Moyne, in Drumlish today.
The girls put in huge work throughout the game, with a number of 1st Year students featuring as a result of all our TYs being away. It was always going to be a difficult task with experienced TYs missing, but the girls put in some fantastic performances and clocked up a score of 3-10.
Huge credit goes to Lillie Ann, Ella, Mia and Ellen, who togged out for the Juniors today despite only being in 1st Year. Lillie Ann put in an excellent performance at wing back, whilst Ella even managed to get her first goal for our school!
