1st Year History Trip: Knights & Conquests

Ms. Devaney’s 1st Year History classes (1A and 1C), accompanied by Mr. Bennet, Michelle, and Catherine, enjoyed a fantastic trip to Knights & Conquests in Granard on Thursday.


As the girls are currently studying medieval history, the visit was especially fitting and greatly enriched their learning experience. The students had a wonderful time exploring the visitor centre and interactive museum, and made the most of the beautiful sunshine with a climb up the motte which is the highest Norman Motte in Ireland.



A huge thank you to Boni and her team for their warm welcome and engaging talks – it made the experience all the more memorable!
