Forensic Fun!

Our TY students recently took part in an engaging and interactive workshop called Forensic Fun , where they investigated one of history’s most famous cases – the assassination of JFK.

Using a unique combination of history, forensic science and critical thinking, students worked together to analyse evidence and explore how crimes are investigated.

Throughout the workshop, students examined:
• Ballistics and gunshot residue (GSR)
• Photographic analysis
• Fingerprinting techniques
• Autopsy evidence
• The main theories surrounding the case

Students also discovered how modern forensic science helps solve crimes through activities involving:
• Phone tracking
• Impression evidence
• Alarm technology
• Trace evidence
• DNA analysis

The workshop encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, creativity, and analytical thinking while giving students a fascinating insight into the world of forensic investigation.
