1st Year Football Blitz

Our 1st years took part in a Gaelic Football Blitz today at Wilson’s Hospital School. Both teams played brilliantly throughout the day and won all of their group games to qualify for the semi-finals. Team 1 overcame Moyne to secure a place in the final, while Team 2 were unfortunately beaten by Mercy ballymahon in their semi-final. Despite a fantastic effort, Team 1 narrowly lost out in the final. 

There was a huge effort, teamwork and determination shown throughout and the girls thoroughly enjoyed the day!
