Today, our 1st and 2nd Year girls travelled to Longford Rugby Club where they took part in a series of games against Moyne Community School.
It was a brilliant day of rugby, with all teams showcasing great skill, teamwork and enthusiasm. There was excellent participation across the board, ensuring plenty of game time for everyone.
The girls have represented the school in a number of blitzes throughout of the year, with teams made up of both newcomers to rugby and more experienced players. It has been wonderful to see the progress and development of all players, with skills improving significantly as the season went on.
We are already looking forward to getting back on the pitch next September as rugby continues to grow from strength to strength in our school.
