Today, as part of our DEIS transitions team, we ran the subject options fair for students in 3rd year and TY. Each senior cycle subject was represented by 5th or 6th year students who answered questions on what the subject entails for Leaving Cert and also what changes have recently been introduced. We also had LCA representatives to provide valuable information on the transition from Junior Cycle to LCA.
The fair was a valuable learning experience ahead of the girls deciding on their choice subjects for next year. The deadline for returning the forms is upcoming in the next few weeks. Many thanks to the teachers and all the student representatives for giving their time and expertise.
