Swimming

Swimming plays a huge role in Meán Scoil Mhuire’s extracurricular activities. Participation in the swimming club has increased year on year in the school. These girls are very committed to their sport, with many training in the local swimming pool in the early hours of the morning before they come to school.

Connacht School’s Swimming Championship:

The school was well represented in the Connacht Schools’ Swimming Championship this year by Caoimhe Egan, Jessica Neary, Ciara Mimnagh, Karleigh Reilly, Rachel Scully, and Eunice Ngoie, all putting in strong performances in various events.
