Our mentors have kindly volunteered to assist our new 1st Year students as they settle into our school community, offering guidance, encouragement and a friendly face.

They were a wonderful support during today’s Induction Programme. We thank them for their time, kindness and leadership. They are fantastic role models for our school community.

Our 1st Years are in very good hands!

Throughout their Induction Day, students had the opportunity to become familiar with their new surroundings, meet their tutors, mentors, teachers and classmates and begin settling into life at Meán Scoil Mhuire. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces, new friendships forming and first-day nerves quickly disappearing!

Many thanks to our 1st Year Head, Ms. Macko, our 1st Year Tutors and Mentors, and every member of staff who helped to organise and support today’s Induction Programme. Their care, encouragement and hard work ensured that our newest students received such a warm welcome and positive start.

We also thank parents and guardians for their continued support and look forward to working closely with you throughout the years ahead.

To all our new 1st Years – fáilte romhaibh go léir! We are delighted to welcome you to our school community and look forward to watching you learn, grow, form lasting friendships and create many happy memories at Meán Scoil Mhuire!

So, a huge congratulations to the Class of 2026! We wish you every happiness and success as you begin the next exciting chapter of your lives. We look forward to seeing where your ambitions will take you next.

Your results mark the culmination of so much hard work and commitment throughout your time at Meán Scoil Mhuire. Whatever your results may bring, be proud of how far you have come and everything you have achieved.

As you look towards the next chapter, remember that there are many exciting paths ahead. Whether your next step is college, an apprenticeship, the world of work, travel or taking some time to decide what comes next, move forward with confidence and embrace the opportunities ahead.
