Bank For Life

There was yet again another successful day for the students involved in the School Bank with Bank of Ireland last Monday. Nearly one-hundred student bank accounts have been set-up so far. With the bank committee working hard we hope to see Meánscoil Mhuire cross the one-hundred account holder line and bank the school prizes and funds. Thank you to Brian McCarthy for his dedication throughout the past and upcoming weeks from the TYs and all at Meánscoil Mhuire.

Save A Life, Ah Ah Ah Ah….. Save A Life

The Transition Years nearly needed first aid themselves with the overload of medical emergency skills learned throughout our two- day first aid course last week. Astonished by the amount of hard work involved the students successfully managed to participate and complete this invaluable first aid course. Thank you to Martin Mulvey, the course facilitator, from the students of TY.

Bake For Life

TYs are supporting our noble fifth year students taking part in the Attic Africa Project. The students, travelling to Africa, are volunteering to assist primary school students. The TYs and fifth years spent their weekend baking goodies to be sold after the Cathedral Masses in aid of this project. We wish the students the best of luck with this worthwhile project.

Keep Your Life

Road Safety is crucial. Thankfully, all our budding entrepreneurs, who missed their road safety course due to their participation in The Enterprise County final, were afforded the opportunity to partake in this invaluable course last week.
