Senior Football Debut!
Well done to our senior ladies football team today who played Our Lady’s Bower Athlone, in Longford Slashers. Both teams fought hard from the throw-in, with some excellent displays of football from Mean Scoil Mhuire. It ended in a draw. We look forward to our next game against Ballymahon on Monday 23rd.

TY Music Trip
On Wednesday October 11th, Transition Years, accompanied by Ms White and Ms Boyd attended a day of workshops in The Irish Institute for Music and Song, in Balbriggan. The students learned about Irish Music, how to play the bodhrán and African drums and how to record and produce their own records. They also completed a Barber Shop singing workshop followed by a wonderful lunch provided by the The LaLa Restaurant and Café. They concluded their day with a pit-shop for some shopping in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. Thank you to Ms Boyd and Ms White for organising such a wonderful and memorable day.

Maynooth University Talk
Our Fifth Year students were delighted to attend a motivational talk from Kaye Mitchell of Maynooth University, on October 3rd. Kaye, then spoke to our Sixth Year students and informed them of the numerous courses on offer in Maynooth. Both talks were informative, interesting and engaging. Our Fifth Year students left the talk with a sense of purpose and focus for the two years ahead, while the Sixth Year students benefitted from learning of the various options and opportunities that undergraduate study in Maynooth University can offer. Thank you to Ms Ross for organising the talk.
