First year and u14 football training is back! Training is every Tuesday at 4:30 - 5:30 and interested students should bring in their gear and get changed once school has finished and then meet one of our coaches at the school gate to walk down to Longford Slasher's GAA pitch. Please bring your own water!
After going the 20/21 school year without any football, it was so exciting and enjoyable to see close to forty 1st / 2nd year students at training (for the first time with Mean Scoil Mhuire) on Tuesday the 14th, hopefully this commitment remains for the season and we can achieve success on the field.
If any student is unsure whether they are eligible for u14 football, please contact Mr Dennigan on Microsoft teams.
Senior and Junior training is also back! Taking place on Mondays from 4:30 - 5:30, contact Ms Killeen for additional information. A huge thanks to Longford Slashers for allowing us to use their facilities.
Finally, after the success of our Longford to New York fundraiser that took place last year during lockdown, you can now view the new Mean Scoil Mhuire GAA kit in the image attached! This would not have been possible without the commitment our girls showed throughout their period at home, but also to everyone who donated, so a huge thank you to all who donated. Thanks also to Ms Killeen, Ms Devaney and Mr Dennigan for organising the fundraiser. Here's hoping the new kit gets to see some success this year on the pitch!
